Arsenal, Juventus And Inter Focus On Udinese Young Midfielder

Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto drew the attention of Arsenal, Juventus and Inter according to his agent. However, his move to leave Udinese seems unlikely to materialize.

The 21-year-old went into the first team at the Dacia Arena last summer after an impressive run while on loan to Ascoli in the 2015-2016 season. He appeared 34 times in Serie B and contributed five goals.

Leicester City and Bournemouth have been linked with Jankto last year, but now his value is rising after he is included in the U21 Euro squad.

Will thrive in the English Premier League

According to his agent, Beppe Riso, the Gunners and two big Italian clubs are eager to recruit him this summer, but now Junkto thinks only of Udinese alone.

“Arsenal love him, he loves English football and also likes Juventus, Inter and some other teams,” Riso told Sportitalia quoted from FourFourTwo.com (28/7).

“You see him going even further in the Premier League? Yes.”

“He’s young, he’s 21 years old, he has to stay calm and he’s only thinking about Udinese.”

Jankto joined Udinese as a young player in 2014 and this attacking midfielder scored five goals in Serie A last season.

The Prague product player has played four times for the Czech Republic’s senior team and even scored on his debut against Lithuania in March in a friendly match. (Source: fourfourtwo.com)
